LOFOTEN WINTER WONDERLAND

FEB 16TH - 23RD 2025 (8 Days, 7 Nights)

Imagine a landscape straight out of a North Pole Christmas story, and you’ve got Lofoten.

In this part of Northern Norway, the towns are quaint and the sun stays low. The high northern latitude makes for some epic aurora viewing, and the small fishing towns, fjords, beaches and mountains make for some of the most epic backdrops in the world.

Discover Lofoten Norway with us!

During this 8-day workshop, we will be traveling to locations straight out of a fairytale. Our intimate knowledge of the area allows us to provide you with the best way to capture the breathtaking beauty that this Arctic archipelago has to offer.

On this photo adventure, we will explore many picturesque locations. This area is overflowing with dramatic mountains, beaches, fjords, and small fishing villages.

The charm of these islands combined with amazing aurora viewing capabilities, and endless golden hour lighting from the low sun in winter, create some amazing photography opportunities.

During the workshop, our itinerary will be kept as flexible as possible as we chase the light and colors of this extraordinary place. On a typical day, you will be up early to capture the sunrise and out past sunset, into the night to chase aurora.

Daylight hours will be spent resting, in post-processing sessions, or out shooting if the weather looks good.

Our Photo Guides will monitor weather forecasts, road conditions, and any other factors and plan the days to optimize shooting conditions. Our goal is to put you in the best locations at the right time with the best light!

Whether you’re an experienced, amateur, or beginner photographer, you will add to your portfolio with an incredible array of images, learning composition techniques with the assistance of award-winning photo guides.

This is a drone-friendly workshop and we will be happy to assist with instructions on how to take spectacular photos using your drone!
